I enjoyed attending the Teacher's new to Catholic Schools Day. It was great to learn more about how to lead classroom prayer, be further introduced to the Religious Education curriculum and also learn some practical ways to implement Religious Education in our everyday classrooms. It was great to learn practical ways to implement meditation and prayer with younger children, including a variety ways to do this using song, drama and using visual prompts. I came away with a lot of physical resources that I can use, which I continue to read and look into as I continue my journey with Religious Education.
