Today's session gave insight into the up coming curriculum refresh that is to come for literacy learning. It was refreshing to see how we can use the progressions to support our students to work within the "goldilocks zone" of their learning. I am excited to see how we can involve our students to give them agency in identifying their next learning steps. 

Learning how the LPF can support me as a teacher for literacy planning has been very useful. I can see how we can use the progressions to support co-construction of learning goals with our learners. Working collaboratively as a team to ensure that learning goals are shared across the team with all learners will also help us to uphold a high standard of teaching and learning across the school.

Next steps for my own learning;

- Reflect on current reading and writing practices, identify specific areas that can be strengthened.
